Your vacation looks like so much fun-- particularly the shopping part. I'm not much of a cold-weather girl, but the idea of shopping and hot cocoa by the fire sounds delightful!

Shenandoah bed and breakfast said...: I just spent the New Year holiday in Tahoe (snowboarding at squaw) and in Reno. I have spent a great time at Moody's Bistro (in Truckee) on the way up to Tahoe in last year--depending on what day of the week you're making the trip, that could be a good option (they have lunch and dinner too, but I've only tried the brunch).
