Window Boxes

Here is my window. I would like to add a window box but I have this weird boxy, square window.  How would you add a window box?

Here are so beautiful window boxes, that might work, if I find a way to modify their installation. Any ideas?

Hope you find one to install! Any of them would look beautiful as long as you can keep the flowers alive! That's always my problem! :)

Any of them would look great and the perfect accent for your window. I used to have them years ago, but the bushes in front of my windows finally grew tall enough to become a hedge and I took them down. I drilled holes in the bottom and then lined it with window screen and a few small rocks - then the soil. I read to do this somewhere and it really helped keep the water levels right, soil in, and the window box from rotting out.

Any trouble intalling -take your photo and go to home depot - I'm sure they can recommend the best way to install/attach.

I think the big results will come from the flowers you choose to fill the box with - cascading over the box edges or tucked neatly within will determine so much of the end result.

Best Wishes,

Linda

So pretty! I liked the little pots in the shelf idea and I linked this to my window boxes post too, for inspiration!
