Thank you for this quick and easy recipe. I will be trying it. I am new to blogging but enjoyed reading through your blog this morning. So much inspiration!
ohhhhh so sinful and yummy! Doesn't rust provide a little iron??? All my pans look like that too. I did get a new skillet for Christmas so at least I have one nice thing in my kitchen!
HOPE YOUR CHRISTMAS was amazing!!!!!!!
We call those "Washday Pudding Cake" - we also sprinkle a layer of pecans between the two layers.
Yum!

Just found my way over from Today's Creative Blog, and I am enjoying my first visit. This recipe is the beginning of a passed down recipe from my grandmother. We call them Texas Gold Bars. They are made exactly the same and then topped with chopped pecans and coconut.
