Kimba, to answer your question about to paint or not to paint your stairs. I think I would hardwood/stain the tops and paint the treads.

Nice post, those all pictures are looks really beautiful. I maintained my Hardwood floor using by best cleaning products and method, its looks always good. There are many products available however I have used biodegradable and eco-friendly packaging and harmless cleaning product.
