My Latest and Greatest...

This post is being brought to you by my civic duty and blogger scheduler. Today is my first day of Jury Duty, ever. I have no idea what to expect or how long this duty will last, so I have scheduled this post in my absence.

I wanted to share with you some of my favorite things I have bought lately.  You should be able to click on each picture & link to learn more about them.  Most of these things I have purchased and are not paid advertisements or endorsements. The one exception is the book. It was given to me by the Author/Publisher. Look at this post like one BFF to another. Now go shopping!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I love this necklace. So sweet, light and simple. I sent two of them to some friends. I special ordered a 24" chain so it would hang lower.
The prices are also very good! SweetTeaShoppe
My new favorite purse. I bought this from the Coach Outlet over Presidents weekend and saved an additional 20%. I love shoulder bags and this one fits perfectly. I don't remember how much I paid
(I am sure my hubby could tell you :) but knowing me, not over $100)
I suffer from cracked heels. When you are a barefoot and flipflop kind of girl, the heels stay cracked. After using this cream for a couple days (off & on) for two weeks...I NO LONGER HAVE CRACKED HEELS. Kinda like magic. I believe that any brand of this cream will work. I just went with the cheapest. Wal-Mart
My new favorite book. I could not wait to get to the end! I was going to save this book for Jury Duty today but I decided to read the first chapter (just to see what it was like) and I could not put it down until I was finished. Seriously, I don't even read and I loved every minute of this book.
There will be more on this book soon...Author Diane Meier
My splurge. I have had the same pair of Wal-Mart Optical Department sunglasses for 4 years now. They cost me $40 and I believe my mom bought them for me. Well, folks the Lasik Surgery has finally run it's course and 8 years later I am wearing prescription glasses again.  These glasses are my new love.  As a bonus, insurance covered the cost. TOTAL SCORE!
Who knew I could get so excited about a paper cutter?? Not just any paper cutter but one that makes the swoosh noise as it slices through a dozen pieces of paper. I bought the Cadillac of paper cutters.
No, I am not hugging trees. However, these are da'bomb.  You will need to do your research. Google words like: Barefoot running & Vibram Five Fingers.  These are made by the same company that makes the soles of Military issue flight boots. Also, you will never have an excuse not to run while on vacation.
These babies pack up in a suitcase just right. Vibram
I wanted to be cool like all the other kids. I wanted my camera to scream, "I belong to the crazy black & white, color challenged woman!" This is my "fun" purchase and I love it! I ordered mine padded with a lens cap pocket. *Shey*[B]
I can honestly say "I needed this." I was currently carrying my camera in a lunch box. It was a cute lunch box but all the same a lunch box. Now I can slip my wallet into this bag and carry it as a purse.  This bag is just the right size, comes padded, has little metal feet on the bottom, lens pockets, padded shoulder cover, adjustable shoulder strap and a great clasp. I heart this bag. Martilena
Bounce Dryer Bar. This little guy attaches to the inside of your dryer. Lasts for months. I love this!! Great smell, easy to use and makes my life better. I love it when companies think outside the box!
We have friends in Ohio that swear by five fingers shoes. They wear them in the summer to Cedar Point amusement park. They usually get season passes and these are perfect for them. They go on water rides and their shoes dry in no time and they say they are super comfortable. We've been meaning to try them.
Wait, so you had Lasik surgery? And you have to wear glasses again? Do tell, as I've been holding out for it, but I've never met anyone that has had it longer than 2 years ago. But I do love the Coach shades (and bag).
I checked out that Etsy site for the camera bag - it looks like a great price for a great bag. Now, I am just wondering... which bag was it that you got? i can't find one that has the divided pockets along with the snap closure. Or did you get a completely custom bag? Just wondering!!!
What a coincidence! I just found your blog today, and I also had jury duty today. We were originally scheduled for last Monday, but it was cancelled so back we went today.
Thank you so much for all the great comments about your new bag from my little shop! Anyone looking for this bag, but can't seem to find it at my shop?? That's because I haven't had a chance to add it yet. The bag is Berta and it will be available on my website within the next few days.
