Craig's List Find and a Tease

My first Craig's List purchase.  I laugh now but I was so stink'n nervous.  Luckily the couple selling this bookcase were supper sweet.  I also got to discover a new part of my area that I did not know existed. The houses on this street were so cute. I loved them!

Anyway, here is the cute bookcase unit that I bought ($25), that I have absolutely NO need for. If you don't mind taking a minute to vote, I'd appreciate your opinion on what color I should paint this little guy.  Also, if you live near Knoxville, TN and would like this cutie, shoot me an email.  When I say I don't need this, I really mean it!

Now for the tease:

Would be cute in a childs room to store their books

I would LOVE it, Christy! Wouldn't it be great in your son's room? I think you should keep it just a bit longer. You will get attached.:)

I have always wanted to try Craig's List but was scared! You have inspired me to check it out. Will you drive the getaway car just in case?:)

Hey Christy! It's been awhile since I've visited. I love that little bookcase! I really see it in fire engine red in a kids room! I would love to find one for my son's room. He has so many beautiful books and this would be a lovely way to store and display them. I am a Craig's list junkie! Just bought a bamboo patio dining set on there for $45 and I'm refinishing it now. Be careful, you will get addicted!

Neat magazine rack! I would leave it in it's original dress, I think.

Christy - It would be a great classroom gift. Teachers love those types of Bookshelves, because they have lots of books and the chidren can easily pick out the one they want. Especially good for K and 1st because of the large print books.
