So, are you "over" decorating with chalk or is it still as popular as ever?

Cute post. I just bought a can of magnetic and a can of chalk and framed my daughter a magnetic chalkboard in her room. She loves it and it is more space efficient than an easel. It was so easy to do!

I love chalkboards but not chalk. I now use chalk markers and life is so much better. No dust everywhere. That is what bothered me using the chalk in the kitchen is that it left so much dust where you work with food..no more. yeah.

What a great round-up of chalkboard projects! I think they look so cool, and it always amazes me the creative ways people come up with to use them. I do think they've lost some of the "wow" factor they had when they were still a new concept, though.

P.S. I got the magazine you sent me. Thanks, Christy! You are such a sweetheart. And it really is a good issue. Definitely a keeper!

NO WAY! Look at how classy #3 is - how can that *ever* go out of style? I wonder where I can find chalkboard wallpaper though?

It's definitely not over for me! I just finished two chalkboards this weekend that I have a post on deck to publish tomorrow. They look great but are so functional. I don't know if they will ever go out of style now that they have received so much coverage!

I love it! I hope it doesn't go out of style. I think it's such a fun way to add charm and character to otherwise plain spaces.

I think it is over when the kids are all grown up.

I think a nice little frame, maybe 11x17 would be good. A whole wall? Looks a bit frantic for my tastes.

Ooh..I totally still love it!! But I am thinking of moving into green chalkboard paint!!!
I just think it's so cute that people can write all over your walls or whatever else when they come over:)

I think we need to keep the chalk board alive. Sadly, they no longer have them in classrooms anymore.

Come see what I have for you :)

I will NEVER NEVER NEVER grow tired of chalkboards!!!!!!

Every single time I go into an antique store I hunt for those sweet vintage boards and I'd give anything to have ANY of these rooms above. :):) Of course, you know, I have no style for decorating ... so maybe I'm just a wannabe cool decorating chick.
