Offbeat Elegance

Something about this article struck a cord with me. Maybe it was the use of architectural elements, the nerdy cute guy or the all white decor.  I just can't put my finger on it because my personal taste is not this funky, white or fresh.  Be sure to pay special attention to the use of chain link fencing materials for drapery hardware...now that was a cool idea!

The article first appeared in DIY Magazine, Summer 2007 (Words by Jennifer Wilson, Photographs by Greg Scheideman and Field Editor Susan Andrews).

A dead bush turned into a stunning chandelier? I admit I've never seen this done before.

Is this totally unique or more common than I think?

I love unusual furnishings like this.

Fun article. That bush chandelier is kinda strange, though. And I LOVE nerdy guys! (Seriously).

Whoa! There's some seriously unsual stuff in those interiors!

Wandering around that house would be a real journey of discovery.

I like nerdy guys too!

Linda. ;)

They railing turned table is awesome. I have one that we just ripped out and have been wondering what to do with it! :)
