Gem Studded Furnishings **Guest Post**

Like magpies, we're drawn to things that shine and sparkle. Mirrored furniture, such as end tables or console tables, have a great reflective, sparkly quality that we love. Now we're seeing real bling being added to furniture in the form of gem studs, Swarovski crystals and custom crystal accents. A few international furniture fairs in the past year have highlighted vendors who feature these sparkling accents on their furniture. We think this might be a less is more trend where one key piece in the room has crystal or gem accents, like a headboard or accent chair.

Take a look at these gorgeous pieces we found, we are sure they will inspire some terrific decorating ideas of your own.
