Strawberry Pie
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 cup water
1/8 cup cornstarch
1 (3oz) box strawberry gelatin
1 qt. strawberries
9" baked pie shell
Bake pie shell per package instructions (I buy the frozen Pillsbury brand). Clean and dry berries. Combine sugar, water and cornstarch in a small saucepan. Cook until mixture boils and thickens, 3-5 minutes; stir constantly! Remove from heat and add gelatin. Cool. When mixture is cool, pour over berries in 9" pie shell. Chill, serve with whipped cream. I some times add a handful of blueberries in with the strawberries for added color.

Wow! This sounds fabulous!!
Yum. Poor Sienna is allergic to strawberries. But she LOVES them so much. When we eat them, we try to hid e them from her. I wonder if I can hide an entire pie....
