(Cindy Carey had used it on her exterior trim in Ft.Walton Beach - that's where I first saw it - and it was 'brown' on her house as well. BTW - her stucco was battleship gray, and she used the 'brown' Black Fox). The Iron Ore is a true black, but not a harsh black. Just thought I'd clarify the two colors a bit more from my experience.Life in the Enchanted Foresthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01824900710620957361noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-607282904729624451.post-75669780202876267782011-02-17T08:52:09.194-05:002011-02-17T08:52:09.194-05:00Christy - I have used BOTH Black Fox AND Iron Ore ...Christy - I have used BOTH Black Fox AND Iron Ore - both are fabulous colors - very pure. I currently have Black Fox on my front door and window shutters. It does have a bit of a brown tinge, which may be what you need with your warm brick colors. I have Iron Ore on my perimeter kitchen countertops. I love it! It's a very charcoal-y color that has absolutely no undertones of anything else. YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH EITHER COLOR.Life in the Enchanted Foresthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01824900710620957361noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-607282904729624451.post-19829729950117155482011-02-17T04:41:17.763-05:002011-02-17T04:41:17.763-05:00Best of luck deciding on your paint colors. I can't decide on the color for my bathroom because I just cannot commit...and it is a very tiny bathroom. Trying to decide for the exterior of a house would send me around the bend.

LOVE the sign.
